Why we built it

The climate crisis needs lawyers who can connect the dots.

Climate change does not stay within the boundaries of environmental law. It raises questions about rights and justice, corporations and markets, energy and infrastructure, labour and livelihoods, governance and accountability.

The law already shapes many of these systems. The challenge is building the capacity to see those connections and to use them.

The Climate Law Bootcamp exists to build that capacity.
To bring climate into the way we teach, study and practise law, and to build a community of people who can help shape the legal response to a changing world.
